Because Holy Hush contains several potent botanicals, we encourage a little extra care. Turmeric and ginger may have mild blood-thinning effects and may not be appropriate before surgery or for those taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications such as warfarin, apixaban, rivaroxaban, clopidogrel, or high-dose aspirin. Both herbs may also stimulate bile flow, so individuals with gallstones or bile duct obstruction should consult their healthcare provider before use.

Holy basil (tulsi) has traditionally been used to support healthy blood sugar levels and may enhance the effects of diabetes medications. It may also interact with medications that affect blood clotting.
