I completely understood who Jean was when she told me how got started in digital art. Her words were, "When apple computers first came out, I just started piddling around." So, to clarify, I asked her if she was self taught, an she smiled and said, "I am self taught."
The reason I understand her is she is a Creative at heart. It's what she is meant to do. Creatives love to learn new things and cannot help themselves with creating something of value for someone else that is unique and fun. Jean's words were, "I like to make beautiful things that make people happy." And, in true Creative fashion, that's what makes her happy in return.
When you visit her booth, you will find individualized cards that you are not going to find anywhere else, original art that has been turned into puzzles, beautiful original coaster sets, and original metalic art. But what may not be evident at the moment is that Jean is also a writer. I believe writers are God's instruments that are designed to see through the fogginess of the issues of our day, and shine light where it is needed. Her writing is deep, meaningful, and prophetic light that shines. She shared with me a desire to create a book. I believe she should. She has a true gift.
I have been priviledged to be set up next to Jean Wylie with Pampered Treasures throughut the month of March. My booth location is moving to the otherside of the Farmer's Market for the summer. But we will both be there tomorrow, April 12, 2025. Come see us!
